Abst Abstract III III Abstract Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) has attracted a lot of attention from scholars all over the world in the past 20 years. Through 30 years of development in western developed countries VMI has become a very mature inventory management model, many enterprises in the application process has been successful. since the last century Chinese introduction of VMI , there have been many successful cases, but the successful implementation of VMI inventory management model, only in a few large enterprises and foreign Large Firm’s Chinese division. In fact, at present more and more domestic enterprises are also active attempt VMI model. VMI in China development has great potential. Many successful practice have proved that vendor managed inventory model is advanced. VMI can solve the problems of supply chain inventory’s uncertainty risk, to reduce the risk of supply chain, to avoid the information transfer delay and distortion caused by the bullwhip effect, supply chain enterprises can utilization external resource more reasonable, and improve customer service level in whole supply chain. But VMI also has some problems in the concrete implementation process, so VMI need coordination. This paper studies the coordination contract VMI from supply chain inventory cost and benefit perspective. Firstly, analyse the world environment background of this paper, points out the significance of the research, the design train thought this paper and research content. Then summarized the world’s research about VMI inventory model, VMI model contract coordination and system dynamics in supply chain inventory. Based on summarizing the previous research literature on the traditional inventory management, VMI inventory management, revenue sharing contract theory and system dynamics.
