万方数据 万方数据 摘 要 本文由“对文化和保护冲突的重新审视：从环境伦理视角阐释人类学 的环境保护观”原文、“对文化和保护冲突的重新审视：从环境伦理视角 阐释人类学的环境保护观”中译文及翻译实践报告三个部分构成。源语文 本阐释的是环境伦理理论，集中讨论了人类中心论和环境中心论这两种观 点的分歧，这些分歧与环境保护的三种价值观相关：利己主义、人道的利 他主义和生物圈的利他主义。通过这些阐释旨在让人类去反思怎样才能够 为我们的生存环境的可持续发展作出贡献。源语文本是一篇典型的信息型 文本，对文本的翻译能够帮助译者加深对翻译理论的理解并且提高其翻译 技能。 翻译报告首先介绍了源语文本的基本信息，着重分析了其语言特点。 然后详细论述了奈达的功能对等理论以及功能对等的四个方面（词汇对 等、句法对等、篇章对等、文体对等）在译文中的体现，并结合翻译实例 进行具体阐述。最后归纳了此次翻译实践的体会。 关键词：源语文本；功能对等；翻译体会 I ABSTRACT The thesis consists of three parts, namely, the source text of Re-examining culture/conservation conflict: the view of anthropology of conservation through the lens of environmental ethics, the Chinese version translated by the author and the report on the translation. Through examining environmental ethics theories focused on the division between “anthropocentric” and “ecocentric” approaches in regard to three value bases for environmental concern: self-interest, humanistic altruism, and biospheric altruism, the source text aims at leading people to reconsider how to work toward a viable future of the biosphere. And the translation of such an informative text is of significance to the translator because it helps her to deepen her understanding of translation theories as well as improving her translation skills The translation report introduces some basic information about the source text, laying special emphasis on its linguistic features. Then it analyzes in detail the Functional Equivalent theory proposed by Eugene A. Nina and how the author and translator applies the theory to practice by trying to realize lexical equivalence, syntactical equivalence, discourse equivalence and stylistic equivalence in her translation. The experience gained from this translation experience is then summed up.
