The modern enterprise competition is essentially the competition of cost, how to strengthen cost management profit, make the enterprise to obtain the competitive advantage in cost, enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, to become the enterprise operator must face the problem. So to enable enterprises in the increasingly fierce competition in an invincible position, improve the level of enterprise cost management brook no delay. Therefore, designing a set of is conducive to the development of enterprise cost management system and its implementation in place, at this stage is the most important task of the enterprise. This article through to the Y group of engineering examples are enumerated, analysis of the Y group in the project cost management of some problems existing in the process, in the Y group engineering improvement scheme was proposed and was implemented, and summed up the form of construction enterprise project cost management improvement measures. Hoping to learn to play the role of construction enterprises, the project cost management process, can consciously applied related theory, aiming at the characteristics of the project, to find out the best scheme of project cost management, improve the social and economic benefits of the project. This paper first reviews the domestic and foreign related theory of cost management. Secondly, lists the Y group project cost management present situation and inadequate, and the reasons were analyzed. Third, the use of earned value theory to propose a new engineering project cost control method and through this method to Y groups cost management system redesign.
