山东财 山东财经大学硕士学位论文 摘 摘 要 i i PAGE PAGE iv Abstract This report is based on the translation of The Land of the Blue Flower, a children’s literature by a famous American playwright and novelist, Frances Hodgson Burnett. The author of this report successfully completes the translation task provided by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, under the guidance of Yan Fu’s translation theory of “Xin-Da-Ya” put into her translation report to analyze the problems for which the author tries to come up with the solutions during translating. The report consists of five chapters: the first chapter is task description, including translation project and translation requirements. The second chapter is introduction to the source text, including writer, plot and stylistic features of the original. The third chapter is process description, in which Yan Fu’s translation theory of “Xin-Da-Ya” is also outlined. Case analysis, the forth chapter, is the most important one of the report. In this chapter, the author mainly analyzes some translation cases to illustrate how the translator applies Yan Fu’s theory to the translation practice at lexical, sentential, textual and rhetorical level so as to make the translation faithful to source text, target readers and literariness. The last chapter is conclusion in which the author sums up her gains and deficiencies from this translation practice. Key words: children’s literature; literary translation; “Xin-Da-Ya” 摘 要 本报告是作者在翻译美国著名剧作家、儿童文学作家 Frances Hodgson Burnett （弗朗西丝?霍奇森?伯内特）所著 The Land of the Blue Flower（《蓝花王国》）的实践 基础上完成。该短篇小说由外研社提供，本文作者在严复“信、达、雅”的指导下完 成了该小说的翻译。本报告以严复的“信、达、雅”为理论依据，对翻译中遇到的问 题作出分析，并提出解决方案。 本报告共分为五章。第一章介绍了翻译任务，包括项目描述及翻译要求；第二 章概述了原著的相关内容，包括作者简介，故事概要，写作特点分析等；第三章总结 了翻译过程，同时对严复的 “信、达、雅”翻译理论进行了阐释；第四章探讨了如 何在翻译实践中综合运用严复的“信、达、雅”翻译理论。在这一章节，作者从词汇、 句法、语篇、修辞等方面，对典型案例进行分析，展示了译者如何使译本忠于原作、 忠于读者、忠于文学性；最后一章作者总结了完成此次翻译任务后的收获以及译文中 存在的不足之处。 关键词：儿童文学;文学翻译;“信、达、雅” 山东财 山东财经大学硕士学位论文 Contents HYPERLINK \l _bookmark0 Abstract i HYPERLINK \l _
