华中科技大学硕士学位论文华中科技大学硕士学位论文 II II Abstract The military, which relations with the countrys economic development and national defense, is the cornerstone of maintaining national stability. The Veteran is an important component of the armed forces, whether they are proper placement related to the the stability of the army, so the resettlement Veteran have been great importance to the party and the country. With the development of market economy, there has been more and more restrictions for the resettlement. resettlement policy established early are now incompatible with the development of society, so in order to adapt to the market economic development some reforms are carried out. So the resetllement policy become more diversify. In this subject, with the theory of the emplyability, I analysed the features of the employability include in the career recognition, roles transformation, human capital, social capital. And analyzed the factors affecting these features. Finally, campared with the resettlement policy for the veteran in foreign contries, I make some recommendation about the resetllement policy. This subject is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is about the problem this subject analysed and the concept about the veterant, emplyability and so on. The second chapter is about the situation of the re-employment, such as the settlement policy and the re-employment situation during the trasition. The third chapter is about the features of the veterant’s employability including the career reconition, roles transfomation, human capital and the social capital. The fourth chapter introduces factors which can increase the employment ability. The factors are divided into personal factors and social factors. The final chapter I learn from foreign experience and make suggestions how to improve the employability of Veteran in two aspects.
