AB ABSTRACT 万方数据万方数据 INTERDEPENDENCE OF SINO-US INDUSTRIES EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS -- BASED ON INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZATION ABSTRACT After the 1990s, Chinas economy has a rapid development; Sino- US trade began to form a stable growth momentum, and a close interdependence. Since China joined the WTO in 2001, China- US economic and trade relations comes to a new level, at the same time, the trade imbalance between the two countries have gradually come out, and become an important reason for Sino-US trade friction. Sino-US trade imbalance reflects the differences in the structure of trade, which in turn is derived from two countries’ different industrial structure, so it is necessary to analyze two countries’ industrial structure and trade structure in-depth. The input-output analysis can better reflect the relationship between industries. This paper describes the input-output method of production and development. By introducing the input-output theory and practice, you can see the use of input-output method analysis of industrial relations between the two countries is feasible. By us ing of the world input-output tables can get the world input-output table between US and China, the integration of calculations show that, the industrial structure between the two countries is greatly different. China’s manufacturing industry is in a high proportion, and the service industry is also in a low proportion, what’s more is heavy industry’s proportion showing a growing trend. Service industry is American main industry, and agriculture, light industry and heavy industry are showing a downward trend. China’s intermediate products and final products vs. the proportion of US trade show that, in the intermediate products, metal manufacturing, electrical and optical equipment industry, chemical manufacturing’s export and import between China and the US have a high proportion; in the final products, which typical is China exports textile and leather products to the US, imported mechani
