Zishen extract can increase the relative ratio of OPG / RANKL in bone marrow of ovariectomized rats through reduce the RANKL expression significantly, and thus to effect on the role of the OPG / RANK / RANKL system, which shows that Zishen extract can promote bone formation significantly, and having the effects on prevention and treatment for postmenopausal osteoporosis.
