Abstract
Since the human capital theory proposed, the education especially the higher education has been the priority of development all over the world. At the same time, they also have made the people to ask doubtful questions and inquire into the quality of the undergraduate education which undertake the cultivation of large-scale high-level talents .Teaching is the main work of education, the improvement of education quality relies on the improvement of teaching quality. In the last analysis, the improvement of education quality relies on the ascension of students learning effect. In the relative shortage of teaching resources and higher education as service industry condition, this paper emphatically puts forward to construct undergraduate teaching support services system in colleges, referring to the teaching support services theories in the distance education. It includes the subject, the content, the strategies and the surroundings of support services, improving the studying effect and teaching quality by providing support services for students learning and teachers teaching. Meanwhile, teaching support services serve depending on the establishment and effective operation of teaching support service, the dynamic mechanism, the coordination mechanism and the feedback mechanism.
This paper analyzes the situation and defect of Huazhong University of Science and Technology teaching support services based on the previous theories by questionnaire and interview, then propose: Firstly , for the object of teaching support services, universities should support all kinds of chances to express their will and understand the learning situation, requirements and troubles of them. Secondly , for the substance of teaching support services , universities should firstly build the urgent resource, optimize the substance of services, reform the system of resource utilizations; for the strategies, they should be more targeted and flexible.
