北京市男子竞技排球项目后备人才培养模式研究 北京市男子竞技排球项目后备人才培养模式研究 万方数据 万方数据 ABSTRACT In August 2014, during the visit to Chinese delegation of Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, President Xi Jinping pointed out that “we should improve the performance of three big-ball sports which symbolize sports power”. As one of the three big-ball sports, volleyball is of considerable mass foundation in China. Yet volleyball always falls behind football and basketball in terms of overall development, social impact, professionalization, and reserve talents cultivation in particular. This article analyzed and discussed the reserve talents cultivation mode of Beijing men’s volleyball with methods of literature consultation, expert interview and comparative analysis. The problems that reserve talents cultivation of Beijing men’s volleyball is confronting are as follows: Pressure of intensive training and game performance, overlooking the importance of education and incorrect perception of relationship between culture level and athletic career are the main factors that influence athletes’ balance between trainings and studies. Limited by the current personnel management system and athlete’s educational status, it is usually difficult for reserve talents to find a fine job after retirement, which directly influences the quantity and quality of reserve talents. Due to the characteristics of volleyball event and marketing environment, the popular “combination of education and training” mode could not be widely used in Beijing.
