摘 要 美国著名教育家杜威的教育思想对全世界的教育都产生过重大的影响。他的教育思 想主要集中在他 1916 年出版的《民主主义与教育》一书中。本论文以此书中的教育思 想为基础，探讨它对当前高中语文教育一些有益的启示。本论文共分为三个部分： 第一章介绍了《民主主义与教育》一书的产生背景、在中国的引入、传播与接受情 况。 第二章分析杜威在《民主主义与教育》一书中对教育本质与目的的探讨和其教育思 想的主要特点，并分析了杜威教育思想的一些局限性。 第三章论述《民主主义与教育》一书中的教育思想对当前我国高中语文教育的启示: 重视对语文学习环境的营造；积极合理的开发高中语文教材；建立学生和教师相互平等、 互为主体的师生关系以及对高中语文课堂教学的一些有益启示，并针对这些启示，提出 了一些建议，希望能够对当前高中语文教育有所帮助。 关键词：民主主义与教育，高中语文，启示 ABSTRACT The famous American educators to education thoughts of Dewey education around the world produced significant influence. His education thoughs are mainly contained in his work democracy and education, published in 1916. My paper tries to explore some beneficial enlightenments of Chinese high school education with based on the education thought in his book.This paper is divided into three parts: The first chapter presents the book democratic and education background, introduced in China, spread and accept.The second chapter analysis in the democratic and John Dewey education in his book, the nature and purpose of education and the education ideas discussed the main characteristics. And analyses some limitations of education thought John Dewey in this chapter. The third chapter discusses the democratic and education in the book education thoughts on the current high school Chinese education enlightenment: emphasis on chinese learning environment construction; developing high school language teaching material actively and reasonably；establishing equal and reciprocal relationship between teachers and students and so on.And put forward to some suggestions, in hopes of the current high school Chinese education help.
