Summary on Investigation of Tujia Medicine Ｒesources

Abstract Through literature review about Tujia drug resources ，standards and research of the related local herbs ，this
article summarizes the investigation and research results of Tujia drug resources in Hubei ，Hunan and Guizhou provinces of
China． It is estimated that there are about 2600 kinds of herbal medicines in Tujia area of China． Among these crude drugs ，
about 600 herbs are of ethnic characteristics and commonly used ，and more than 170 herbs are used in medical institutions
at present． The above mentioned results will provide important reference information for research ，exploitation and utilization
of Tujia medicine resources．
