ABSTRACT
In order to promote quality education, training students’ innovation spirit and practical ability has become an important part of higher education. As the main body of university, college teacher determined the level of a universitys educational quality. To improve the practical ability of students, we must first improve the practical ability of teachers. The university teachers lack of practical ability has caused more and more attention by government, employers, and the universitys itself. To enhance innovative research in this area not only improve university teachers practical ability in training, but also solved the difficult problem in university students employment, university scientific and technological achievements into the social difficult problem, as well as make up for lack of engineering education and training model to improve college. The teachers’ practical ability research has an important role in promoting and theoretical significance.
In this paper, review the relevant research from at home to abroad, based on the practical ability of teachers from colleges and universities analyzing content, using questionnaire survey methods to understand the situation about practical ability of teachers training, explore the problems and causes of study in colleges and universities training teachers in the path of practical ability: including broaden the sources of teachers, using probation system; using capital investment mechanism, increasing the in-service training; sounding performance evaluation system for university teachers, emphasis on applied research; Optimization of colleges and universities incentives, mobilize the teachers enthusiasm; The establishment of integrated production and research of teaching model, the implementation of job practice and so on. At last we have a research on the conditions made sure that the path to successful implementation.
