Frame theory has been developed into a new research field following wavelet analysis theory. Also it is a popular subject of wavelet analysis. It plays an important role in wavelet analysis and irregular sampling theory. It has been successfully used in signal processing, image processing, data compression, sampling theory, Banach space theory, filter theory, optics theory and so on. In this paper, the construction of tight wavelet frames and dual wavelet frames yielded by several generators are researched. A series of significant results are obtained. Firstly, the origin and basic theory of frames are summarized．Concepts and prop- -erties as well as commonly used constructive methods of wavelet frames, dual frames and tight wavelet frames are introduced. Next，the construction algorithms of symmetric tight wavelet frame from several generators are introduced. The existence of symmetric tight wavelet frame from several generators is proved. In the same time five mask functions are constructed specificly, making the wavelet functions associated with the five mask functions generate tight wavelet frames in L2 (R) . And they are symmetric or antisymmetric functions. Further -more symmetric tight wavelet frame is constructed for the scale factor 5. The oversampled filter banks and intermediate variable are introduced. The construction of intermediate variable ensure that the filters are symmetry. Using the perfect reconstruct- -ion condition, the low-pass filter is constructed under the condition of limiting low-pass filter length. Moreover, high-pass filters are constructed by low-pass lilter, and nine frame generators are obrained. Finally, the dual frame wavelet functi
