华中科技大学硕士学位论文 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract Under the background of the globalization of the world economy, the development of Chinese enterprises encounters more challenges and opportunities. Social development and economic growth make the competition among companies more and more intense. The financial crisis in 2008 challenges many companies, and the European debt crisis in 2012 caused another big problem for all the enterprises. By taking all these factors into consideration, it finds that the importance of the company’s strategy management is obviously. After the understanding of the importance of the company’s strategy management, thesis begins to study these questions: to verify the effectiveness of using the balanced scorecard to evaluate company strategy. Whether balanced scorecard is suitable for Chinese enterprises or not? In order to solve these problems, thesis uses the case study method to analysis. Thesis selects a listed company in the general equipment manufacturing industry to do the case study. The analysis is focused on the strategic evaluation of the company’s strategy. Use the BSC method to evaluate the rationality and effectiveness. The industry analysis and the SWOT method are used to get a deep understanding of the company. By getting a deep understanding of the balanced scorecard and strategic evaluation, thesis begins to evaluate the strategy. The key performance indexes are designed from four perspectives, financial, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth. The Analytic Hierarchy Process method is used to analysis the weight of KPIs (key performance indexes). Finally, recommendations for improvement are given after the evaluation.
