摘 要 摘 要 在现实生活中，公园既是城市老年人的重要活动场所，又是城市公共空间的主要类 型之一。本文以城市公园为例，从功能主义以及社会资本理论视角，采用个案研究的方 式，探讨了城市公共空间的养老功能以及功能的实现途径。 本文的主体部分探讨了城市公共空间的养老功能，认为城市公共空间具有以下功 能：间接性经济支持功能、日常生活互助功能、精神慰藉功能和健康养护的功能。这些 功能主要是通过老年人在公共空间场域中的建构其空间社会资本得以实现。在家庭结构 转型等因素的影响下，老年人的血缘、业缘以及地缘社会资本出现了一定程度的弱化甚 至丧失，原先由家庭、组织以及社区所承担的部分养老功能转移到了公共空间，老年人 逐渐从私人领域走向公共空间。 为了提高老年人的生活质量，城市的公共空间尤其是城市公园应改善其相关设计， 如构建安全便利的通行环境，公园内应采取无障碍设计，注重不同年龄层次的需要等。 同时，在进行城市规划时应考虑养老导向，为老年人开辟更多的活动空间，以帮助其构 建空间社会资本，提高生活质量。 关键词 公共空间 养老功能 社会网络 社会资本 Abstract Abstract In our daily life, the park is an important place for elderly people who usually play in it and it is one of the main types of urban public space. In this paper, the author analyzed one city park from the functionalism and the theory of social capital. The author used case-study method to analyze the functions of urban public space for elderly people and tried to find how to achieve these functions. In this paper, the author analyzed the functions and support of urban public space for elderly and pointed the following functions: indirectly financial support, mutual aids in daily life, spiritual support and health maintenance. These functions are achieved by the elderly people who construct the social capital in the filed of public space. Under the influence of restructuring in the family and other factors, the social capital of elderly people based on blood relationship, neighbors and colleagues is weaken and lost, so the original functions achieved by the families, organizations and communities turn to achieve in the public space. The elderly people have a gradual shift from the private sector to the public space. In order to improve the quality of life of elderly people, we should improve the design of the public space of city and especially urban parks. For examples, we should create safe and convenient traffic conditions, barrier-free design should be taken in the park and focus on the needs of different ages.
