Abstract: Based on the related references, this paper proposes to construct the evaluation model of social workers job
satisfaction from four aspects including job satisfaction, salary and welfare satisfaction, personal development
satisfaction and social support satisfaction. Based on the SEM model analysis method, combining with the microscopic
survey data of Lanzhou and Wuhan, this paper constructs the evaluation model of social workers job satisfaction and
analyzes its value orientation. The results show that the salary and welfare satisfaction are the most important with the
path coefficient 0.85, personal development is second, 0.78, job satisfaction is 0.53, and that of the social support
satisfaction is 0.49. To improve the job satisfaction of social workers, the government must improve the social workers’
pay and benefits system, improve the level of pay and benefits as well as improve the career development mechanism of
social workers.
