Research on Strength of Sealing Spherical Pumice Concrete ABSTRACT Pumice is a volcanic rock，which is produced in the volcano eruption. The regions in the North China and Northeast China are rich in reserves. The lightweight aggregate concrete with pumice as an aggregate production is an ideal natural green, environmentally friendly energy saving building materials., compared with the bulk density of small, which have low thermal conductivity, fire resistance better advantage, Therefore, pumice concrete structure has a positive meaning on the reducing weight and improving the seismic performance. In recent years, it is used in the housing construction in our country to maintain the structure and masonry structures. However, due to relatively low intensity and the surface of the pores not being closed, ,the pumice holes are filled with cement mortar in the process of mixing concrete,which leads to the increasing of the bulk density .Therefore it is of very little use in the application of reinforced concrete load-bearing structures. In this paper, the pumice aggregates are cured by being coated with mortar, before the mixing of lightweight aggregate concrete,to make it a semi-synthetic lightweight aggregates, and then through a systematic experimental study of its physical and mechanical properties and the orthogonal test method to determine the mix optimization of sealing ball into the optimization of concrete mix pumice, and do tests on the mechanical properties and durability of concrete. According to the experimental research into the sealing of the pumice into a ball and concrete, its workability is improved, the density is decreased, thermal conductivity is lowered, and thermal insulation performance is improved. As a new type of lightweight aggregate concrete, concrete of pumice sealing and into a ball can reduce weight of structure, can be widely used in reinforced concrete load-bearing structures,.And vast deposits in Zhangjiakou,Hebei Province are rich in
