Abstract
The current study contains the main conclusions of a field research made in 61 Romanian villages whose objective is to capture specific characteristicsof the forms and therural educational institutions. The local educational system under research depends on factors like: experience and degree education of thelocal educational s taff; thelogistic of the local educational institutions; the specificsearchingmethods u sed by each institution; the interferences with the city community (rural-urbane interrelationship). Startingon this conclusionsand priority, trustfully thinking the ob jective data, the research papers present some achievement
directions for a better placed rural education.
Introduction
Knowing the valuableculturaleducational traditions who were offeringduring ti me vitality to the rural educational world but also those who manage to developor stop from evolving some ofthe ruraleducational institutions, we thought useful and necessary the undergoing of an empiric field research having as purposethe studyof specific aspectsof rural education following both directions in the historical events (the horizontally and the vertically level), emphasizing onthe valueand the roles that
the forms and the rural educational institutions have. The research made in 61 Ro
manian villages wasoriented by the nextobjectives: identifying the human and m aterial resources and also theforms andthe methods used toput in value the rural educational institutions;discovering the dysfunctionalfactors, the negative things w ho degraded in timesome formsand systems of therural education; setting up the long-term factorsto place and replacethe ruraleducationto the level of their importa nee and integrate itinto development projects.
