1 1 2 2 ABSTRACT Western theoretical research prove that the third sector can supply the rural public goods. The third sector have advantages of uniqueness to supply the rural public goods: Can widen the capital source channel of the rural public products and give play to the function of supervising ; Can promote the rural public products to combine fairly with efficiency while supplying effectively ; Can meet the diversified demand for the rural public products in the rural area flexibly ; Can promote social cohesiveness and promote the society to be harmonious . There are four kinds modes of the third sector in supply the rural public products : First,supply with independently third sector; Second, the third sector and government jointly supply with; Three the third sector and private department jointly supply with; Fourth, the third sector and the third sector jointly supply with. The government should encourage the third sector to supply from all respects with the rural public products , the third sector should give full play to ones own advantage and participate in the rural public products to supply actively too. In recent years, the third sector in Sichuan Province develop rapidly, no matter on the quantity or the quality in the development of the third sector in Sichuan. With the development of the third sector in Sichuan, they supply the more and more rural public products. The paper selected three organizations as the study case. The third sector in Sichuan achieve progress on supplying with the rural public products. But some questions exist. All in all, the quantity of the third sector supplying the rural public products are less；the mode of supplying are less; it is limited that the third sector supply with the range of the rural public products; it is not deep that the third sector supplies with the degree of the rural public products;it is limited that the third sector supplies with the way of the rural public products.
