Abstract Compiler is an essential tool in electrical design and development. Generally speaking, compiler is a very important tool because it’s needed any time people developing software. However, compiler rarely draws attention from peoples who works in software developing industry, everyone use it in the nature of things. Supplier of MCU or DSP, will always provide compiler for free when they sale their products. Along with the popularization of SRM and the growing of design company, marketing changed. Nowadays, most of the manufacturers use ARM core chip, so the ARM compiler getting popular. From ADS used in the past to RVDS used today, from von Neumann to Harvard framework, chip changes and compiler changes also. A nice compiler will not only compress the code to a great extent but also improve the performance significantly. This paper review the concept, principle, working flow and method of a compiler, study and program each modules of a compiler one by one, and finally complete the compiler program. This paper study the process of programming a compiler based on SK06009 chip series, define the guide line for developing a compiler system. This paper also introduces the developing principle, overall layout, design concept, implementing requirement analysis and data structure design and implement, in order to carry out a compiler program successfully. This paper also study key technologies of a compiler like lexical analysis, syntax analysis, syntax directed translation, type checking, run-time environment, intermediate code generation, code generation and code optimization; apply BCB software develop platform systematically to achieve the compiler function module; analyze the compiler structure design and system function plot and design; introduce main function implementation and performance optimization of the compiler system. It enables people to translate the advanced programming language , which is easy compiling, reading and maintenance, into low-level ma
