In the meantime, with the development of computer technology, todays world has stepped on the information age. From entire product life cycle, process information produced by process activity plays a key role of linking the design and manufacture of products, and it is a precious resource needed to be managed. Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is an important modern manufacturing in the information-based development strategies, and it is a type of techniques on managing all data related with products in their entire life cycle. This paper puts the enterprise process information management and usage as the goal, and researches the process information management based on the parameters of the PLM. With the practice of the project, it can realize that the parameters of the design process applied to the enterprises based on the PLM platform. And then, it forms a flexible control for product process in the entire process. The major works of this paper as follows: With the analysis of the status of manufacturing process information, and for the lack of information management in the traditional CAPP and PDM, the system framework of parameter information management based on PLM is proposed by combining the concept of PLM and the application of manufacturing information. With the analysis of the basic features of process information, the process information models of part, assembly and service are established, and the establishment of the information management model based on PLM is realized. With the study of the key technique and realized approach of parameter process design based on PLM, the realization of parameter process design based on the feature is successful.
