外国语学院英语专业教育实习校内试讲教案
(1) Knowledge and skills objectives:
At the beginning of the course,
Students can predict the content of the activities and dialogue based on the instruction of the teacher.
In the end of the course,
Students should be able to mater and applied these new vocabularies and expressions fluently and flexibly and can relate the new words with different contexts , such as some nouns like “invitation,” “preparation,” some adjectives like “available,” “glad, some phrases like “look after,” “turn down,” “look forward to,” etc.
(2) Ability objectives:
By some speaking and talk about “ make an invitation,” “accept an invitation,” or “turn down an invitation”, cultivate students’abilities such as individual thinking and cooperative learning in terms of finishing tasks independently and so in groups.
(3) Emotional objectives:
In the end of the course,
Students will build a strong awareness of the importance of how to make an invitation appropriately and turn down an invitation politely.
Student will have a sense of cultural difference between China and western countries on the aspect of making an appointment and have a better and deeper understanding in how to be a good language learner.
Students will have a strong motivation to study based on the interest of the topic.
Blackboard; multimedia; words; some related pictures.
Step One: Warm-up / Lead-in (8’)
1. Greet with students in order to absorb their attention and remind them it is time to
have class.
2.By the music of HAPPY BIRTHDAY, tell students that today is Meimei’s birthday and she wants to invite every student to take part in her party then let students use predicating strategy and previous experience to guess what Meimei should say.
3. ask one or two students to answer this question in order to help understand the topic easily.
4. show a invitation card to students and read it out for students then
