Abstract Current urban underground pipeline network has formed a huge-sized and complicated pipeline system, so in each city there are a large group of maps and statistical forms datum for the design, construction and completion for underground pipeline network. Applying GIS（Geographical Information System）technology to the underground pipeline network administration, is an important way to realize the pipeline scientific and automatic administration.
