Abstract With the rapid development of industry and increasing motor vehicle quantities, more and more people has paid their attention to the control problems of air pollution in Yantai urban areas. For targeted prevention and control of atmospheric pollution, we need to fully understand the temporal variations and spatial distribution characteristics of the major atmospheric pollutants in Yantai and their mutual relations with the same-time meteorological factors, so as to provide the scientific basis for management of air pollution source and sensitive areas. In this study, we monitored the
