Abstract Along with the deepening of economic globalization and international division of Labour, more and more industries have to gather in some area, thus formed the industrial clusters. The development of industrial cluster promotes the enterprise competitiveness, regional competitiveness and country competitiveness. Through the study of industry cluster competitiveness is helpful to find out the disadvantage of industrial cluster competition, provide reference for the development of the enterprises within the industry cluster approach, for the local government in industrial cluster policy advice, so as to promote the competitiveness of industrial cluster. After 30 years of reform and opening up, our country gradually formed some industrial clusters with distinctive characteristics. Such as Anhui huainan, the coal industry cluster, Zhejiang wenzhou shoe cluster, Yongkang hardware industry cluster, Shantou, guangdong toy industry cluster, Beijing zhongguancun electronic industry cluster, and so on.
