西北工业大学硕士论文摘 西北工业大学硕士论文 摘 要 目前的手机类似于掌上电脑，能够运行各种新型应用。市场上要求手机小 巧轻便、低功耗和低价格，因此对手机的存储空间和处理速度有严格的限制。 随着无线通信技术的迅猛发展和无线数据应用软件需求的迅速增加，要求手机 应用软件能实现更多复杂功能，并提出了代码重用、软件定制、软件扩展和升 级的更高要求。为此对最新的无线数据应用平台BREW进行了研究，分析了 BREW具有的客户端处理技术、网络无关性、设备无关性、支持C／C++和JAVA 语言等特点；对COM组件技术和BRCOM组件技术进行了深入分析和比较， 并对BRCOM进行了扩展，增加了分布式组件技术并进行了验证；提出采用扩 展的分布式BRCOM组件技术。基于客户／服务器模式开发较复杂的无线数据应 用软件，以满足对软件的上述新要求。 最后结合某个手机项目，利用先进的BREW平台，设计开发了手机邮件客 户端软件。 关键词：嵌入式系统，无线数据应用， BREW，COM，BRCOM，电子邮件， 邮件客户端软件 西北工业大学硕士论文ABSTRACT 西北工业大学硕士论文 ABSTRACT Mobile phones have become like a computer in the hand—capable of running a variety of applications。Yet this eapabili够is constrained by market demands that require mass-market phones to be small，inexpensive，light and consume little power．These constraints，in turn,have restricted device processing power and memory(storage)．With the development of Mobile communication and increasing of the requirement of the wireless data applications，the software should be more complex and be capable of reusable．customizing，extensible and sealable。 The BREW platform is designed to provide a consistently excellent user experience regardless of network infrastructure，the BREW ap蹦cation Can be a client-side application，Can be scaled perfectly in various tiers of phone models，and they are based on the widely-used programming language C／C++．Java programmers can also benefit from the chip·level integration of BREW． COM and BRCOM technology are analysed deeply in this thesis，they both are also contrasted with each other．In the thesis BRCOM is extended with distributed component technology．It is provided that making use of extended distributed BRCOM technology based on client／sever mode in designing and developing the mobile application program is effective． Finally，through analiysing of Email client software used in PC and mobile phone，the thesis implements Email client SOlRwale under BREW platfornl． Keywords：Embedded system，Wireless Data Application，BREW,COM，BRCOM， Email，Email Client System II 第一章绪论第一章绪论 第一
