河北工业大学硕士学位论文 河北工业大学硕士学位论文 STRUCTURAL OPTIMIZATION DESIGN OF DRUM BRAKE BASED ON ADAMS ABSTRACT The drum brake is a mechanism,which is used to absorb the kinetic energy of the car, makes it into heat energy lost into the atmosphere, and forces the rapid deceleration of the vehicle until stop. The drum brake is an assembly in the brake system, which is used to hinder the movement or movement trends of the vehicle. Drum brakes are widely used in middle and low passenger cars and a variety of commercial vehicles, and are the most important safety components of the braking system. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to deeply analyze and research its work process and the performance. The paper focuses on the performance simulation and optimization of drum brakes, explores the combination application of ADAMS software and ANSYS software to set up rigid-flexible coupling virtual prototype model of the drum brake, makes simulation analysis for the model and simulation design for the brake drum based on ADAMS. Mainly done the following work: First, carry out theoretical calculation of damping factor, brake torque and wheel cylinder pushing force of BJ1029A lorry front brake. Then derive computing formulas of entire car equivalent inertia and brake drum speed. Then use UG software to set up all parts of three-dimensional solid models and assembly model of BJ1029A lorry front brake; import the assembly model into ADAMS software by the form of parasolid to build virtual prototype model of a multi-rigid body. Carry out modal analysis for the brake lining by finite element analysis software ANSYS, and generate the required modal neutral file; import MNF into ADAMS by ADAMS/Flex interface to replace the original rigid body, and establish rigid-flexible coupling virtual prototype model. Conduct dynamic simulation of virtual prototype and structural optimization based on ADAMS, and obtain simulation curves of multi-rigid-body model and rigid-flexible coupling mo
