AbstractABSTRACT Abstract ABSTRACT Along with the expansion of city scope and increase of population，high—speed， large capacity common transportation such as metro，light rail stands out with its unique advantage．As a result，more and more data such as control commands，status information，fault diagnosis and custom service is born．Consequently，the related study oftrain communication network becomes one ofthe most important tasks about modem high-speed train development． TCN(Train Communication Network)standard divides the train communication network into WTB(Wired Train Bus)which connects all the changeable composition vehicles of a train and MVB(Multifimction Vehicle Bus)which connects various fixed devices．The paper mainly discusses the gateway between WTB and MVB among system process variables．Aiming at hard—real—time condition between the two networks，according to queue theory，stochastic process and some knowledge，the paper emphasizes the analysis of TCN standard from the academic aspects，and analyzses the key issues about the gateway such as speed matching and frame conversion combined wim the practice．Under the support of WTB and MVB modems，the gateway is designed into the form of intelligent process unit and uses 32-bit computer ARM as the primary CPU and other control and synchronous units are carried out in the CPLD．This configurable solution can effectively reduce the size of circuit board，and better the system’S integration．At the same time，some extra functions may be added to it expediently．About the software，the paper introduces the embedded real-fime operating system uC／OS—II as the platform to complete the software design and realization．The theory foundation and design concept about the train communication gateway in the paper brings a new thinking method and gives reference significance to communication design in other real—time systems． Key Words：Train Communication Network，WTB，MVB，gateway，protocol conversion II 学位论文版权使用授权书本人完全了解同济大学关于收集、保存、使用学位论文的规定，
