摘要A 摘要 A Numerical Simulated Study about the Cloud Microphysical Processes of a Snowstorm Event in North China Major：Atmospheric Physics and Atmospheric Environment Sciences Name：Meng Jinping Supervisor：Lin Wenshi Abstract The snowstorm iS one of the important disaster weather systems on North China．The understanding of the cloud processes of snowstorm is essential to the artificial enhancement of snow and the humerical Simulation of snowstorm．In thiS paper，the nonhydrostatiC Mesoscale Model(MM5)inc]uding several explicit resolvable—scale microphysical parameterizations was used to simulate a heavy snowstorm event that occurred in North China during 20—23 December 2004．Two experiments USing the Goddard scheme(experiment G)and Reinser scheme(experiment R)in two inner domains were conducted in order to test the sensitivity of di fferent microphysical parameterization schemes on the simulations of snowfal 1．The budgets analysi S of the cloud microphysics processes determined the dominant cloud microphysics processes．Moreover，six experiments were performed to test the sensitivity of the characters of snowfall intensity，hydrometeors distributing and microphysical budgets with different options for the Reinser2 cloud microphysics parameterization schemes， such as the different snow slope intercepts， 摘要Compared 摘要 Compared with the control experiment，the rate of snowfal l i s larger and the rate of depositional growth of graupel is more 1 ittle in experiment 2E7 when呶i s equal to 2 X 107m～．However，the rates of snowfal l and depositional growth of SHOW are smaller and the rates of fall graupel， depositional growth of graupel and conversion from cloud ice to SHOW are larger in experiment 3E6 when Nos i s equal to 3×106m～．In experiment Meyers，the rates of initiation of cloud ice，conversion of from cloud ice to snow，accretion of cloud ice by snow，depositional growth of cloud ice and sublimation of cloud ice and cloud ice mixing ratio are smaller， which perhaps could be attribu
