哈尔滨工业大学工学硕士学位论文 哈尔滨工业大学工学硕士学位论文 II II Abstract Recently, along with the fastest development of computer and communications technology, especially rapid popularization of Internet and syncretism acceleration of 3C(Computer Communication Consume Electric), micromation and specialization become the main developing trend, at the same time embedded products turn into the mainstream of information industry. And the embedded products which use Linux System based on ARM processor have been popular. Embedded operation system is the kernel of the embedded system, and the applications and drivers are developed based on the operation system. So the porting of the embedded Linux system is basic and important in the development of embedded products. To run embedded Linux system naturally, there must be three parts: Bootloader, Kernel, File system. The bootload loads kernel when power is turned on, then the kernel inits all hardware and loads the file system, and the file system offers an operation interface to users. These three parts must cooperate with the hardware. In this article the porting of embedded Linux system is introduced in detail. There is four main parts in this article: establishing cross compile tool chain, porting bootloader, porting Linux kernel and establishing file system. The cross compile tool chain is the base of work, and the other three parts are the main parts of work. The principle, flow and porting flow of these three parts are introduced in detail in this article.
