論通識科學教育的人文精神 鄧鴻源 真理大學通識教育中心副教授 摘要 眾所周知，通識教育即全人教育，亦即教育學生同時具有人文與科學素養，以達到做人有 品德、做事有品質、生活有品味的境界。然而長久以來，人文與科學教育似乎是兩條平行線， 大家各行其是，以致兩者難以融合。因此，如何讓通識科學教育也能培養學生的人文精神與素 養，乃是當今通識科學教育的重要課題之一，畢竟哲學家康德曾說：「所有自然科學都是奠基 在人文思維上的」。本人的科學教育理念與康德相符合，教學法是寓教於樂，以科學為，人文 為輔。教材內容以符合趣味性、實用性與啟發性為原則，涵蓋科學與人文，並將本校三 H的理 念融入課程中，從潛移默化中培養學生的人文與科學素養。 關鍵詞：人文素養、科學素養、通識教育 93 A topic on the humane spirit of the general science education Hong-yuan Teng Associate Professor Center of General education , Aletheia University Abstract As everybody knows , the general education is the holistic education , that demands us to teach student simultaneously the disposition of humanity and science in order to make one behave with morality , act with quality and live with savor . However , from long time ago till now, humanity and science education seem two parallel lines , individually go along each way and hard to merge together . Therefore , how to make general science education also can cultivate student the disposition of humanity and science , it is one of the important topic in general science education . After all , the Germanic philosopher Kant ever said : “ All natural science are based on the humane thought ”. My idea of science education corresponds with Kant . My pedagogy is to combine teaching with fun with science first and humanity second . My teaching materials combine fun , practicability and heuristic method , including science and humanity , meanwhile infusing the teaching idea of 3H of Aletheia University into my curriculum , in order to cultivate imperceptibly student the disposition of humanity and science .
