The teacher can get students to know what to do. Then let them discuss and answer them in pairs Pre-reading provides two questions. The teacher can go around the classroom and discuss the questions with students. Reading is the key part of this unit. The teacher can first get the students to skim for key words and the main idea of each paragraph and the passage, and then scan for further understanding To consolidate the content of the reading passage, the students should be required to retell the history of the Amber Room.
