杭州师范人学硕：1j学位论义 杭州师范人学硕：1j学位论义 ABSTRACT ABSTRACT The foreign literature can not only provide a platform for the different cultures in the world，from which pupils can acknowledge the uniformity and variety of the culture in the world and enhance their own awareness of understanding and respecting the different cultures，but also open a window for the pupil，from which they cail learn and absorb the excellent culture in the world and improve their own ability of selecting and discriminating cultures with the influence of the excellent culture． Therefore，researching on the selection and arrangement of foreign literature in the PEP Chinese textbook currently used by pupils are undertaken in this thesis．This thesis is divided into four parts．The first part is mainly to introduce the status and significance of studying the selection and arrangement of foreign literature of the PEP Chinese textbook for pupils．The third part is mainly to analyze the selection and arrangement of foreign literature in the PEP Chinese textbook currently used for primary school from the following aspects：the number,type of writing，theme，country,author and also arrangement of the foreign literature and find that more than half of the foreign literature are existed in third and forth grade，the majority of the foreign literature are from European countries and American，half over the foreign literature are story tales，and SO on．The third part is to propose the suggestions for improvement of selecting and arranging the foreign literature in the PEP Chinese textbook currently used by pupils according to the possible shortage existed in the currently used textbook．The fifth is to put forward some relevant teaching suggestions for the foreign literature in the PEP Chinese textbook currently used for primary school because of the slow- lI 万方数据 杭州师范人学硕1二学位论文 杭州师范人学硕1二学位论文 ABSTRACT updating of the textbooks．
