Abstract
Since the bridge has played an important role in modem infrastructure construction,it is necessary to apply seismic isolation technology in bridges to improve seismic performance.On the basis of Dong Ping Bridge,a large—span steel truss arch bridge,the present paper gives an analysis of seismic isolation effects by using lead—rubber bearing(LRB)as isolation unit.The main results of this paper are presented as follows:
1.On the study of research data from domestic and foreign countries,
the present paper gives an introduction of current situation and development in seismic isolation technology as well as comprehensive analysis of the LRB’S structure,working principle,mechanical
characteristics and parameters calculation.
2.On the basis of finite element analysis software ANSYS,isolated
and non—isolated space model of Dong Ping Bridge has been established as well as optimize parameters of LRB;The effects of LRB to dynamic characteristics of Dong Ping Bridge has been’studied at the same time.
On the apply of nonlinear-dynamic-time—stepping method,the earthquake response of structure has been compared under the two models,the effect of seismic isolation by using LRB in steel truss arch bridge has been studied at the same time.
3.According to Penzien’S lumped-mass model,isolated and non—isolated space model of steel truss arch bridge has been established which pile-soil-bridge dynamic interaction has been taken into account. Meanwhile,this paper gives an comparison to seismic response under rigid foundation hypothesis model in steel truss arch bridge.Earthquake response and the effects of isolation in steel truss arch bridge under the pile—soil—bridge interaction has been studied at the same time.
