AbstractComputer Abstract Computer Aided Process Planning(CAPP)real izes the change from the mode of traditional handcraft making to the mode of modern computerized task． 工t i s one of the most important technologies to real ize the integration of CAD／CAPP／CAM．And it has great theoretic significance and is required pressingly and extensively．It has the most important effect on the reform of our country’S process planning and on the improvement of the enterprise competition ability to study on it． The paper aims at the pract ical ity instance of the use of CAPP of today’S auto accessory manufacture．The author has studied and discussed on the exploitation technology of CAPP and the technology of its practicability and engineering．Some actual development method and the real ization way of the technology have been brought forward in the paper． The author has designed the practical system of“QT—AXLE—CAPP’’based on database．which will be used in an AXLE manufacturing enterprise in Qingdao． The system can be fit to the need of the factory’S process planning， alleviate the labor intensity of the process planning men and enhance the manufacturing efficiency． In the paper，the author has introduced the actual i ty and the development of today’S CAPP technology．The author has also analyzed and studied the matter of today’S CAPP system and the solut ion methods．From the software engineering point of view，the author introduced the development process of the“QT—AXLE-CAPP system”．The emphasis on the task i s the study and development on the currency and tool of the system． The“QT—AXLE—CAPP system’’used the two methods of search and alternation dialogs to operate process planning．The primary technology mental ity of the system i S alternation dialogs process planning．In the system，there are several tool sub—system provided to the user．The storage and management of the process resource data has al SO been studied in the task，and the dynamic management of the process resource data
