STUDY STUDY ON THE I NFLUENCE OF CHENGM l ANLE H l GH-SPEED RAI LWAY I N MOUNT EMEI AREA ABSTRACT The emergence of high speed railway is a revolutionary breakthrough of modem transportation．High-speed railway is well—received in society the moment it appeared because of its time-saving，convenient，safe and comfortable features．High-speed railway has become a powerful impetus to the development of regional economy．Transportation is one of the six basic elements ofthe tourism industry,which has a vital role in the development ofthe tourism industry．The development of high-speed railway shortens time and space distance between tourism destination and travelling source area,enhances the accessibility to those destinations，broadens the radius of tourist market of scenic spots，accelerates the speed of passenger flow,driving the gathering of the various elements of the capital，information， technology,and promotes the tourism attraction as well as its core competitiveness．this essay studies the influence of high-speed railway chengmianle on tourism development of Mount Emei Scenic Area in order to satisfy the diversified tourism demand，to strengthen the management of scenic spots and make the tourism decision-mak访g and SO on to provide a scientific and feasible basis． This article is based on the results of previous studies，US吨the tourism flow theory, distance decay theory and point axis system theory and global tourism theory as the basis， using SPSS statistical software and DPS data processing system,with high speed railway and development of regional tourism relations as the foundation,respectively,using and quantitative analysis method，studied the influence of high-speed railway chengmianle on tourism development ofMount Emei Scenic Area．The results are as follows： the influence of chengmianle high-speed railway on Mount Emei Scenic Area tourism development mainly includes the influence to the relationship between supply and demand in the scenic，scenic spot marketing，sc
