This report could not be accomplished without the helping of them. ii ii 摘要 本报告为九曲湾温泉度假村简介翻译项目报告。译者于 2013 年 12 月受九曲湾温泉 度假村委托，将约 10600 字的中文材料翻译入英语，原文材料为九曲湾温泉度假村简介， 翻译项目时限为两个星期。 九曲湾温泉度假村是一家以生态旅游为主轴，集温泉养生保健、休闲娱乐、商务会 议、民族风情游览于一体的旅游胜地，因此原文涉及内容广泛，包涵生态、旅游、文化 及中医药等领域，给翻译项目带来一定难度。其中最大的难点在于中医药词汇和术语的 英译，译文即要保留中国特色文化，又要为外国读者所接受。翻译时，译者根据赖斯的 文本类型理论，以目标读者为导向，采用直译与意译相结合，并添加注释等方法进行翻 译。完成翻译项目过程中，译者积累了一些经验：在翻译与本项目类似的以盈利为目的 的宣传材料时，目标读者的阅读习惯和理解能力应作为首要考虑因素；翻译过程中，与 客户交流不仅能了解客户对译文的要求，还能从客户处获得必要的背景知识，大大节省 了译前准备时间。 企业简介是广西本土企业及民俗文化走向国际舞台的一个重要媒介，基于此项领域 的研究仍是一个相对较新的领域，笔者期望本翻译项目报告能够为类似文本翻译提供一 些参考意见。 关键词：广告翻译；中医药；文化 iii iii Abstract This report is a project report on the translation of introduction to Jiuquwan Hot Spring Resort.
