Unit 4 Then and now
A Let’s talk
一.教学目标:
1.能够正确听、说、朗读重点句型:There was/were…in…/ Now, there is/are…in…
能够正确听、说、认读单词,如:star, easy, Internet.
能够听懂、会说、会表演Main scene和Let’s talk的内容,继续学习过去事件的表达,了解英语中动词过去式的用法。
能够提高口语表达能力和语言组织能力,并且进行积极的思考和大胆的创新,提高自主学习能力。
二.教学重点:
1.能够在实际语境中交流运用重点句型。
2.能够表演并内化Main scene和Let’s talk的交际内容。
三.教学难点:
能够用所学句型描述事物的过去与现在的变化。
四.教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
Review
1)T:Yesterday we visited Wu Yifan’s school.Do you still remember “What’s in the school now ?”课件呈现问句,并板书“There is /are ...”引导他们用There be 句型来描述。生说完后课件呈现句子:There are many buildings.
There is a dining hall.There is a gym and a playground.
There is grass and there are some trees.There are hills in the school, too.
用黑白照片呈现三幅图,把时间定为“50 years ago”,让学生用“There was no_____ 50 years ago.”来描述,形成对比。
让学生分别把描述三幅图的以下句子
There was no library 50 years ago.
There was no gym 50 years ago.
There was no computer room 50 years ago.转化成以There were 开头的句子
There were no _______ 50 years ago.
There were no _______ 50 years ago.
There were no __________ 50 years ago.
进一步熟悉There be 的就近原则。
课件呈现一组过去与现在衣食住行变化的图片
T:The world has changed a lot.Some of the changes are amazing.Today ,I will show you two more important amazing changes.
Step 2 Presentation
1)课件呈现嫦娥奔月的图片,让学生说说看到这张图片能想到什么。生会说嫦娥奔月的故事。相机呈现问题“How do you know that?”(引入对话中句子)让学生试着理解问题,并且回答。
T:过去嫦娥奔月是个神话,现在它已经变成现实。相机呈现美国宇航员阿姆斯特朗与奥尔德林登上月球,并在月球上插上美国国旗的图片,相机呈现对话中句子“The Americans took about five days to get there in 1969.”并附文介绍。
讲解句子,took的原形take,译为花(时间),讲解1969的正确读法,领读、让学生读句子,突破对话中难点句型。
T:If you want to know more about it.You can look it up on the Internet.
课件呈现look up 查阅,查找 Internet 互联网。
T:I think the other amazing changes is “AI”人工智能(artificial intelligence)。相机呈现一组智能机器人的图片。出示Robin的图片顺势提问“Who made Robin?”Ss:”Wu Yifan’s grandpa.
T:Today,Wu Yifan’s grandpa is visiting Wu Yifan’s school.Let’s go and see.过渡到Let’s try.生听录音,完成Let’s try部分的两个判断,并订正答案。
出示录音内容,生齐读,找出能给出判断的原文。
T:Listen again ,answer question”How did grandpa learn?
Ss :He listened to the teachers and read lots of books.描红liste
