Abstract: By compari g the 2 types of the segme t erector structure, the ge eral lifti g mecha ism a d the
parallelogram mecha ism, it is fou d that the parallelogram mecha ism is superior to the ge eral lifti g
mecha ism i the spatial arra geme t a d structural performa ce. With the modeli g a alysis of the paral
lelogram lifti g mecha ism, the parallelogram lifti g mecha ism is optimized desig ed by use of MATLAB
optimizatio toolbox. By compari g the force curves of the hydraulic cyli der before a d after optimizatio ,
the result shows that the optimized force of hydrocyli der is smaller tha that before optimizatio .
