They are washing the dishes. 1. 现在分词的构成 (1)一般直接在动词后面加-ing。 如：read -- reading watch -- watching , talk -- talking (2) 以字母e结尾的单词且e不发音的，去掉e再加-ing。 Language points 如：write -- writing come — coming (3) 一个元音字母加一个辅音字母且末尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节词要双写这个辅音字母再加-ing。 如：swim – swimming run – running begin --beginning Language points 2. 现在进行时态 (1) What are you doing? 这是现在进行时态的肯定句形式。常用来询问对方正在做什么，其结构为：主语 + be+ v-ing + 其他。回答时用“I’m + v-ing” 。 如：What are you doing now ? 你现在在做什么？ I’m reading a book.我正在看书。 Language points (2)询问第三人称在做什么，只需将主语和be动词作相应的替换即可。 如：--- What is she doing?她在做什么？ --- She is writing a letter.她在写信 Language points (3)进行时的否定结构是：“主语 + be（not）+动词-ing + 其他”。表示正在发生或进行的某动作。 如：They are not playing basketball. 他们没有打篮球。 Language points
