The Lesson Plan of “School Life” --- Oral Practice of Units 2-4 Teacher: Wang Yanmei Date:2017.4.14 Teaching contents: School Life Teaching goals: 1.In this lesson, students will learn how to express their daily life at school. 2.After this lesson, students will be able to introduce their daily life at school. Teaching key points: Teach students to introduce their daily life at school. Teaching difficulties: Lead students to introduce their daily life at school freely. Teaching procedures: Warm up: Before the class, let students enjoy the song of Counting Stars. Step 1 Brainstorming What and when do you usually do at school? Ask students to talk with their group members. Then let individual student say something about it. . Step 2 Guessing and correcting Show some sentences about one person and lead them to guess. Ask some students to correct some mistakes in those sentences. Step 3 Watch and answer Play an video about “Aileen’s life” and lead students to take notes and answer some questions. Step 4 Enjoy and answer Play an interesting music video about “How do you go to school?” and lead them take notes and also answer some questions. Lead students to show the way they go to school by using different forms. Step 5 See and say Show some pictures about their actions at school and lead students to describe those pictures by using imperative sentences. Step 6 Conclusion and homework. Lead students to have a brief conclusion about School Life. And lead students to write an article about their school life. Teaching feedback: 在课堂上创造说英语的环境是本堂课的亮点。 课前五分钟的口语训练,促进学生口语的提高 每天学生轮流值日,从而获得均等的机会来训练口语,时间2-3分钟,内容由学生根据自己的水平自由选择,可由浅到深、由易到难。可以是每日报告、有趣的经历、故事讲解、与同学之间的对话等等。在值日生说完之后,必须给下面的同学提两个问题让他们回答,这样就可以达到共同提高的目的,同时也要给该生一个口语分数,并且记录在册。这是巩固知识和形成口语能力的有效途径,在不知不觉中让学生得到锻炼,既增强学生学习兴趣,又培养了自信心,给每一个学生展示口语的机会和平台,让他们体验成功的乐趣。 以小组为学习单位,互相帮助,共同提高 每个学习小组4-6人,注意按学生的英语成绩进行合理的组合搭配,课堂上可以小组为单位进行对话训练、课本剧表演、问题讨论等等,这样可以使
