A research situation of PE classroom teaching design based on constructivism theory in Junior high school——for example of teachers’ teaching design in Suzhou
Abstract
Continuously applicated and developed in teaching practice,Constructivism is drawing increasing attention. Constructivism emphasizes that we should take the student as the center,for they are founders of the active construction of knowledge instead of passive recipient of external stimulus or object to impart knowledge.Therefore,teachers are not initiators of knowledge but the active helps and facilitators for students’ active construction of knowledge .With the implementation of the new curriculum,the majority of gym teachers are encountered with problems in teaching practice, which affects the teaching effect, making the importance of physical education teaching design become more prominent than everbefore.The traditional teaching design has not met the demand that students be main body in many aspects.Also,some teaching design don’t adapt to the new curriculum.However,the application of Constructivism in teaching design may make up for the shortage of traditional teaching design , meeting physical teachers’ urgent need of change .
In this assey,we chose teaching design of gym teachers in Suzhou,Jiangsu province to be our respondent and comprehensively analysed and studyed existing problems so as to discuss teaching design of junior high school physical education under the guidance of Constructivism ,mainly including three parts.Part one mainly discusses the origin and the development of Constructivism,its’ views of knowledge, learning, students and teachers as well as the basic definition of teaching design.Part two analysis problems exist in the teaching design of junior high school gym teachers in Suzhou,Jiangsu province and try to find the reasons on the view of Constructivism,basing on our questionnaire investigation of those gym teachers’teaching des
