Since the founding of the PRC,the CPC and governments at all levels attach great importance to the prevention of the natural disasters, and at the same time, they emphasize that the prevention and reduction of the natural disasters is not only an important part of the social construction, but also an important task that we are facing. Since the founding of PRC, our party and the government pay extremely attention to the prevention and relief work of natural disasters, and they take it as one of the government functions work. Under the correct leadership of the CPC, we have made remarkable achievements through the joint efforts of people of all nationalities. After the reform and opening up, science and technology have an unceasing enhancement along with the development of the economy, and the ability of responding to the natural disasters should be strengthen. At work, we continue to deepen the awareness of the disaster prevention and mitigation, gradually form ideas on the disaster prevention and mitigation with distinctive feature of the era, and make the effectively practice on disaster prevention by leading the prevention work.
