华中科技大学硕士学位论文华中科技大学硕士学位论文 II II Abstract With the rapid development of technology, economic globalization and electronic commerce, supply chain and related enterprises are facing serious competition and challenges, including shorten delivery time, improve quality and service, satisfy customers’ personal requirement, and lower cost. In this situation, enterprises have to use theories and methods of supply chain management for the purposes of seeking and cultivating suitable vendors, enhancing their core competencies and gaining competitive advantages. This is an important research them in field of management. This paper selects Jinlong Passenger Bus Company to make empirical study, analyzes problems, which exist in the process of selecting and evaluating suppliers in Jinlong Passenger Bus, and researches on reform strategies of selecting and evaluating suppliers. Firstly, this paper introduces basic conceptions and theories of supply chain management, summarizes related research both at home and abroad, and proposes the objectives, methodology and framework of this research. Secondly, this study describes the current situation of selection and evaluation of suppliers in Jinlong Passenger Bus detail, points out problems existing in the company, and analyzes the reasons that causing those problems. Finally, according to integral strategy goals of Jinlong Bus, this research proposes suggestions to improve the principles of supplier selection and evaluation system, procedures and methods.
