Greet the students as usual.
Let some Ss tell the story of Yu Gong moves a mountain.
Ⅱ. New words
1. Show some pictures and teach the students to read.
2 Give them a few minutes to read by themselves to see if they master these new words.
Ⅲ. Warming-up
1. Look at the pictures and answer the questions.
2. Watch a video about the Monkey King.
Ⅳ. Reading
Work on 3a:
1. Tell Ss to read the article in 3a quickly and try to find the answers to the questions.
2. Ask students to read the passage with these questions.
3. After a while, invite two or three students to present their answers. Then check the answers.
Work on 3b and 3c:
1 Ask students to read the passage again. And ask them to finish the table of 3b.
2 Ask them to read their answers and check the answers.
3. 3c: Complete the sentences below with phrases from the passage. Then check the answers.
