Unit 8 How do you make a banana milk shake?

To learn how to express about order.
二、Difficulties and key points
1. key points:1) the new words and expressions.
2) Listening and speaking the technology.
2. Difficulties:the use of new expression “would like”
三、Teaching procedure.
Step 1. Warming-up and lead in
1. Watch a picture about an actress “JiaLing”and describe her.
2. Ask and answer: Whats in your fridge?
Step 2. Presentation
1. (show some pictures of food on the big screen) Present some new words and expressions to the Ss.
2. Ss learn the new words and expressions then practice the main sentences.
3. Work on 1a and 1b: Match the words with the pictures on the right in 1a.Listening in 1b. Then check the answers.
4.Show three pictures about three bowls” large, medium, small” and present the sentence “What size would you like?” ,then practice.
Step 3. Game (Guess the food.)
(Show some pictures of food on the big screen) Let Ss guess what food it is. Ss try to guess the food and learn the words.
Step 4. Listening
Learn another two new words and finish listening 2a/2b.
Step 5. Pair work
1. Present the pictures in 2a on the big screen and ask Ss to think about “How to make fruit salad?”with the pictures.
2. Take out some fruits ,the salad and three spoons ,then ask two Ss to make fruit salad in front of the classroom.Other Ss tell them the indigrents according to the picture.
3. Share the salad with the teachers and the classmates.
