ABSTRACT ABSTRACT GPS(Global Position System) is a new generation Navigation and Position System which can supply many users with exact timing and positioning service. The meterological sounding probes the temperature , pressure , humidity, wind direction and wind speed arriving at troposphere , stratosphere , centre atmospheric layer to the floor which it makes use of telemetering and remoting sense. And it probes ozone , radiation to atmosphere basing of few stations if need. The probing system have the air balloon sounding , the wind outline line instrument , the aircraft sounding, the rocket sounding, the GPS/MET water vapour sounding , the microwave probing and the laser probing etc. The GPS aerological sounding is a new generation air sounding system , which can increase accuracy in the meterological sounding, reduce the cost at the floor receiving, improve the automation degree of meteorological system. It is an important trend of international meteorological sounding that using GPS technology carry out meteorological sounding. In the advanced country of the international, GPS technology has been used in the meteorological sounding and the upper air sounding, but china is still unique of using the sounding of machinery dyadic code. So we must develop the air sounding technology as soon as possible, arriving at the advanced international level. It is very imperative to develop GPS sonde. Communication system is the core part of the GPS sonde. So the paper mainly study the communication system of the GPS sonde.
