Materials and methods: 106 nasosinuses on coronal and transverse sections are reviewed. The thickness of slice was 3mm, but the ap was 5mm in 94 cases, 3mm in 12 cases, Results: 92% of all pa- tients had a chronic nasosinusitis, there are 83% with deviated nasal septum, 48% with concha bullosa, 20% with paradoxieally bent middle turbinate, 41% with Haller cell, 46% with lar e ethmoid bulla and 19% with deviated uncinate process. The display rate of ostiomeatal complex was 49% when the scannin was performed with the ap of 5mm, but it was the 100% when a ap of 3mm was taken. Conclusion: The relativity between ostiomeatal complex and chronic nasosinusitis is definite. Coronary section is the optimal scannin plane for displayin the structures men- tioned above and it can be used to uide the founctional endoscopic sinus sur ery.
