On the basis of analyzing the phenomenon of scraper conveyor chain breaking, the paper analyzes the tension of the scraper chain, and determines the easy breakpoint of chain.Using multi information fusion method,using differential scraper offset distance direct monitoring and head and tail current indirect monitoring method and the broken of the scraper conveyer chain monitoring system overall scheme;The hardware selection of the monitoring system including inductive proximity switch,PLC and touch screen is carried out;Design the monitor cabinet and determine the communication mode between the equipments;And according to the requirement of system design, modular programming ideas,design of fault chains monitoring of the main program,system initialization subroutine,speed and current reading and conversion subroutine,current control algorithm subroutine, scraper offset control algorithm subroutine,broken chain point positioning control algorithm subroutine and PC parameter setting subprogram;Using MCGS embedded software,the software of the configuration software has been developed,and the monitoring interface can be realized,the running status of scraper chain is displayed,the position of chain is displayed,reset and sound and light alarm;Use ForceControl
