Construction is divided into civil and industrial buildings (workshop). As the residential building energy efficiency design standards of different climate area and public building energy efficiency design standards successively formulated and implemented, great achievements have been made in civil building energy efficiency. Compared with the civil building energy efficiency, the research of Industrial building energy conservation theory is very lag. The energy-saving requirements are usually ignored in design and construction of industrial building. In addition, although some industry have set the corresponding energy saving design standard, these standards have no way to implement because of the lack of quantitative restrictions. Based on lots of investigation and data collection of industrial building palisade structure, we summarizes the development history and realistic condition of industrial factory building in cold region. Taking xi an as the research object, the calculation of energy consumption of a typical clean industrial workshop helped found the proportion of energy consumption of retaining structure (external wall, Door window and ground). The focus of energy saving design of the enclosure structure is external wall, roof and external window. Analysis of mature and widely used civil building enclosure structure energy saving measures in cold region, including the commonly used thermal insulation materials, exterior wall heat preservation technology, roof insulation technology and energy-saving window.
